Elon Musk, speaking by video link to a business conference on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali, noted he was working, “at the absolute most amount…from morning til night, seven days a week” due to his recent acquisition of Twitter, which has added immensely to his workload as CEO of Tesla, Inc.
“I have too much work on my plate that is for sure,” the billionaire automaker added.
Musk appeared in the videolink in a Batik shirt sent to him by the organizers, lit by candles due to his location having just lost power.
Investors and analysts have been worrying over whether Tesla will suffer as Musk has devoted energies to overhauling Twitter following his closed buyout of the social media giant.
Indonesia has been negotiating with Tesla for a deal on battery investment, as well as with SpaceX, hoping to convince the company to build a rocket launch site in their country.
Although Musk refused to commit to either deal, he did say Indonesia will have a large role in the global electric vehicle supply chain, and he did feel SpaceX should have multiple launch sites arrayed around the globe.
